I have been studying Nehemiah for over 20 years. Of all of
the people in the Old Testament, I relate best to Nehemiah, to his problems,
choices, sacrifices, and his desire to do the right thing for God. Nehemiah
is someone whom I can realistically look to for advice. He didn't get any
fantastic revelations or experience any dramatic miracles. He just did the
best with what he had. He prayed and then he acted. He made mistakes and
accepted responsibility for what he did and moved on. He was real. I expect this study to be useful to a broad range of people. If you have any comments, or would like to talk to me about anything I say or discuss, email me. I will do my best to respond. |
